Copper Plating:
The copper plating process uses the Copper-Plating machine also from abroad to place a layer of copper onto the cylinder for the engraving process. This compact machine, based on the latest knowledge and technology in the rotogravure-electroplating field, is constructed with the latest materials and guarantees a high standard of workmanship which create wear-resistant and long life cylinders. We plate each and every cylinder in two different tanks.

In the first tank we apply layers of copper close to the final O.D. Then the cylinder is applied to the other copper plating tank with automatic controls including a dosing device which provides hardness additive, so that a HARD COPPER CYLINDER (180 VICKERS –220 VICKERS) of 200 micron is made. This tank maintains the constant temperature through out the working, which gives us the guarantee of same hardness throughout the cylinder.
